The important thing to remember when reading about the metaphysical properties of anything is this: a tool is simply a tool. A hammer does nothing to a nail without a hand to hold it, an arm to swing it, and most importantly: intent. A tool helps to focus a person's intent.
Intent comes strictly from the mind, and therefore is a very personalized thing. A lucky rabbit's foot is not lucky to me, for instance, as I am allergic! Some people don't mind walking under ladders, while others avoid it like it may bring certain death. I stress this simply because we all have our own ideas on how things work in the world. If I state that citrine helps to turn negative energy into positive energy, but you believe that it actually helps you to sleep, so be it. Take what is stated in my item descriptions with a nice healthy grain of salt. Make up your own mind about everything you surround yourself with. Fill it with your intent, and be well. |
